If you have been following along so far, you may have noticed that I mentioned the pill in relation to gut health.


It may seem strange that the two are related, but let me break it down for you!


How Does the Pill Impact Gut Health?


  1. The pill disrupts your gut microbiome and can increase the growth of BAD bacteria

  2. The pill may cause inflammation in the gut

  3. The pill may impact your immune system (which is largely found in your digestive tract)


Furthermore, this may lead to uncomfortable symptoms such as:

  • bloating and gas

  • irregular bowel movements

  • leaky gut / intestinal permeability

  • multiple food sensitivities

  • poor skin health

  • among other symptoms



How Can I Support My Gut Health?

  • L-Glutamine

  • Fermented Foods (if you have SIBO, this could exacerbate your symptoms)
