Build Your Own Bread



Baking can be a bit of a trick sometimes and it can be intimidating to try your own recipes - trust me I know!

This base recipe is prefect for those you are looking for something versatile that can be used for fruit and veggie based dessert breads.

However, don't get frustrated if it doesn't turn out just right. The type of gluten-free flour you use, your particular oven, how juicy your fruit or veggie was, can make a bit of a difference.

Follow the base instructions below and get your oven mitts ready!



Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free flour (brown rice is a good option or Bob's Red Mill all purpose gluten-free flour

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 - 1 1/2 cup grated fruit or veggie

  • ¼ cup coconut oil, olive oil or melted ghee

  • ½ cup nuts of choice

  • 1 egg

Process:1. Preheat oven to 350F2. Finely grate your fruit or vegetable of choice3. Mix the dry ingredients together4. In a separate bowl mix the wet ingredients together5. Apple Bread: Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 1/2 cup grated apple

  • ¼ cup coconut oil, olive oil or melted ghee

  • ½ cup nuts of choice

  • 1 eggs

Process:

1. Preheat oven to 350F

2. Finely grate apple

3. Mix the dry ingredients together

4. In a separate bowl mix the wet ingredients together

5. Combine all the ingredients

6. Coat a 5 x 9 inch baking dish with oil or ghee

7. Place mixture in dish

8. bake for 40-55 minutes



Zucchini Bread Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free flour (brown rice is a good option or Bob's Red Mill all purpose gluten-free flour

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 1/2 cup grated zucchini

  • ¼ cup coconut oil, olive oil or melted ghee

  • ½ cup nuts of choice

  • 1 egg

Process:

1. Preheat oven to 350F

2. Finely grate your fruit or vegetable of choice

3. Mix the dry ingredients together

4. In a separate bowl mix the wet ingredients together

5. Combine all the ingredients

6. Coat a 5 x 9 inch baking dish with oil or ghee

7. Place mixture in dish8. bake for 40-55 minutes
