Crispy Balsamic Brussel Sprouts and Tempeh



Baked brussel sprouts are one of my favourite veggies! This recipe makes the perfect side dish and can be changed up however you want.

Ingredients:

1 package of tempeh, crumbled (200 g)

1 tbsp avocado oil

1 tbsp paprika

1 tsp tamari

1 tsp pure maple syrup

2 cups of brussel sprouts, shredded



Sauce

1 tbsp honey dijon mustard

1 tbsp avocado oil

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400F

2. Mix all sauce ingredients and combine with brussel sprouts

3. Place brussel sprouts in oven for 30 minutes or until they become crispy

4. In a frying pan combine tempeh, avocado oil, tamari, and maple syrup on medium heat and cover. Cook until crispy.
