Tofu Stir Fry Scramble

Whether or not you are a vegetarian or vegan, tofu can be a great source of protein in your diet. For starters, it doesn't have a strong flavour, meaning you can flavour it for your own liking. Second, its super quick to prepare. Third, its affordable. Fourth, it's very versatile. Tofu can be eaten on its own, be added to a salad or grain bowl, served with veggies, baked, scrambled, sliced, etc. 

One thing to keep in mind that soy products do not agree with everyone so be sure to watch how you feel after eating it! 


  • 14 ounces of firm tofu

  • 2 tbsp tamari

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic

  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder or grated fresh ginger

  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

  • sesame seeds to top

  • optional: 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey


1. break up tofu into small pieces

2. add all of the ingredients and mix well

3. Let sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes

4. Add to a frying pan and heat until it becomes a bit crispy

5. Serve with rice and veggies of choice. 

As you can see from the directions, tofu can be a delicious and speedy way to get healthy protein into your diet!
