Be sure to listen to your body during the winter. Eat well, hydrate, and do something for yourself. Take this time to rest and restore.
01 TRY A NEW FITNESS CLASS
Whether by yourself or with a friend, try a new fitness class like yoga, zumba, TRX, bootcamp, etc.
02 GO FOR A FRESH WALK
Bundle up and go outside and breath in that fresh winter air.
03 PRACTICE GRATITUDE
Particularly during the holiday, its important to reflect in what you are grateful for.
04 GET COZY
Relax and and restore in your comfy clothes near the fire.
05 SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH SOMEONE YOU LOVE
Whether its a friend, a family member, or a significant other, plan a date to catch up or do something special with that person.
Take time to be present with loved ones without technology.
07 SUPPORT YOUR SKIN
The cold dry weather can do damage to your skin. Be sure to moisturize it, dry brush and hydrate, which leads me to my next point...
08 BOOST HYDRATION
Hydration is important to keeping your skin hydrated, boosting hydration, supporting digestion, carrying nutrients, etc.
09 TRY SOMETHING NEW
Pick up a new hobby, read a new book, try a new restaurant, just push yourself outside your comfort zone or let yourself get in a winter rut.
10 SWEAT IT OUT
If you didn't try a new fitness class, I still encourage you to sweat it out and exercise. Go to your local gym, run outside, do a winter activity that gets you moving.
11 HOT YOGA
One of the ways you can sweat it up, warm up and release tension is with hot yoga.
12 DO WINTER ACTIVITITES
Don't let the cold weather hold you back from having fun. Do some holiday activities, build a snow man, go snowshoeing, hit the slopes, and go tobogganing.
13 DO SOMETHING FOR YOU
Whether its a massage, haircut, facial (professional or at home), be sure to make some room for "me time"
In good health,
