It may be a bit more windy, the air a bit more dry and the mornings a little darker but its important that we take this as a sign to bump up our personal care regime. This isn't just about eating well and exercising but also focusing on the positive things in our lives, setting goals and taking advantage of what the season has to offer.
01 GET OUTSIDE
Like I said, the weather way not be as warm, and the sun may not be shinning as much, but be sure to make sure you get outside and get some much needed vitamin D and breath in that fresh cool air.
02 COZY UP
Personal care also includes slowing down. As cheesy as it may sound, grab your comfy socks, sweats, and blanket and cozy up near a fire or on the couch and chat, read a book, sip some tea or listen to some music.
03 SPEND TIME ALONE
With all the stimulation in our lives, be sure to take time to yourself and do something you love or don't usually have time for. Or just be still and reflect, binge watch your favourite show or cozy up like in #2.
04 GO FOR A WALK OR HIKE WITH A FRIEND
Like I said in #1, its important to get outside. Grab a friend, catch up, and get some warm drinks for your walk.
05 BE CREATIVE
Do something that gets the creative juices flowing, even if its just one of those colouring books, or perhaps creating a homemade halloween costume.
Fiction, non-fiction, fashion magazine, blog posts, online articles. Learn something new or indulge in a new book.
07 PARTICIPATE IN FALL ACTIVITIES
There is so much this season has to offer. You can go apple picking, still visit some farmer's markets, play in the leaves, grab lattes, go for a hike, etc.
08 HAVE A CAMPFIRE
This is another activity you can do to get yourself outside and hang on to the last of summer. Dress warm and have a campfire with warm drinks and healthy treat, friends, music, or whatever you want.
09 SET PRIORITIES
The fall isn't here for long and soon the winter will be coming. I actually find the Fall and Spring to be more times of renewal and fresh starts than the New Year. Set priorities for the rest of the season and for the winter! Get yourself into a healthy routine before the new season and holiday season begins.
10 CREATE A PLAYLIST
Create a fun new fall playlist.
