Low Sugar Truffles


  • 1 bar of Eating Evolved Midnight chocolate or dairy-free chocolate bar of choice

  • 1/4 cup of dairy-free milk

  • 1/2 cup of nut/seed butter of choice. I used peanut butter

  • 1 tbsp of pure maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp ground flax

  • 2 tbsp cacao

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Over low to medium heat, add the chocolate bar and milk to a sauce pan and stir until melted

  2. Remove from heat and mix with remainder of the ingredients except for cacao

  3. Place i the fridge for at least 1 hour or until hardened

  4. Remove from fridge and form into bite-sized balls

  5. Roll into cacao powder

  6. Place back in the fridge for storage
