Watermelon is one of my all time favourite fruits! It is the perfect refreshing snack in the summer at the lake.

Watermelon is high in vitamin C, vitamin A and contains other important nutrients. Although its not high in fibre and contains mostly water, its super hydrating!
Studies indicate that it may support immune, kidney, muscle, eye, heart and skin health to name a few.
How should you use watermelon?
-raw of course
-raw with mint and lime juice
-blend and freeze into ice cubes to add to water or smoothies
-blend and add to homemade popsicle moulds for healthy popsicle alternatives
-add to fresh salads with arugula, mint, and goat feta
