Who doesn't love local berries in thee summer months or even frozen berries in a smoothie?! I could personally eat berries all the time but I try to only eat fresh berries when they are in season.
Today I am going to feature three of the most popular berries which are strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
Strawberries contain high levels of vitamin C, manganese, fibre and other important nutrients. Their high vitamin C content makes them a great antioxidant to incorporate into your diet.
Blueberries are one of my favourites and are great frozen when added to smoothies. They contain high levels of vitamin K, manganese, vitamin C, and fibre. They contain high levels of phytonutrients making them a antioxidant powerhouse!
