Destress with these Creamy Lavender Matcha and Hot Chocolate Recipes

Need a bit of a pick-me-up this week? Well, we've got lavender playing double duty in two creamy beverages to help you out!

If you're looking for something to keep you alert yet clam, yet energized, look no further-- try this creamy Lavender Matcha Latte! Or, double up your lavender dosage and reward yourself after a busy day with a sweet treat-- our Lavender Hot Chocolate! Both contain simple ingredient lists too, because why add more stress to a day you've already been dragging those feet. 

These two recipes below also contain powerful ingredients like lavender, matcha, cacao, and coconut oil. Here are some of their top benefits: 

Lavender:

Matcha:

Lavender Matcha Latte:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut milk or plant-based milk of choice (or the amount of your mug)
  • 1 tsp matcha
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp lavender 

    Process:

    1. Heat the milk in a saucepan on medium until hot but not boil. Remove from heat.

    2. Place lavender in an infuser and let steep for 5+ minutes until you can smell the lavender 

    3. Add the other ingredients and blend in a blender or use a hand milk frother 

    4. Serve 

    Lavender Hot Chocolate 

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup plant-based milk
    • 2 tbsp cocoa
    • 1 tsp maple syrup
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla
    • 1 tbsp coconut oil
    • 1 tbsp lavender 

      Process
